Welcome to Shinnyo-en New York. We are a temple offering spiritual support and training in the Shinnyo Buddhist tradition. In Japanese, Shinnyo-en means “borderless garden of truth.” Like gardeners, our practice emphasizes intentional daily practice to cultivate seeds of goodness within ourselves, and the nurturing of these seeds to bloom them into spiritual awakening.
